No. Any standard brushless hand drill within the torque range works. Z3-MINI: 90–180 Nm. Z3-PROF / Z3-FIRE: 120–180 Nm. Z2-A: 50–150 Nm. Never use impact drivers, hammer drills, or any tool with impact functions.

All AWAH products are built to XF 494-2023, the PRC fire rescue industry standard, and are approved for personnel support under this standard. The Z3 series has obtained CE certification. Under EU regulations, AWAH devices do not carry PPE certification — check local regulations before use.

Inspect before every use. Perform detailed inspection every 6 months. Annual evaluation including sheave wear test. The gearbox is factory-lubricated and maintenance-free within its 6-year service life. Never add liquid oil to Z3 gearboxes.
