We simulated 100,000 meters of lifting to test the wear resistance of the AWAH Z2 ratchet mechanism.

Results
After 100,000 meters of operation, only 1 tooth was worn. Theoretically, there is still 1 more tooth of margin remaining — the other 2 teeth are used for reverse locking and do not wear during lifting.
Conclusion
The Z2 manual states a rated lifting lifespan of 20,000 meters. This means the AWAH Z2 ratchet is designed with a 5 to 10 times safety margin for lifespan. This generous engineering margin reflects AWAH’s commitment to durability and user safety.
